As an educator, professional development is crucial to the success of me as a teacher and my students. I must be informed of the latest research and best practices for the elementary classroom. Since there are many facets of teaching, there are many opportunities to seek out professional development.
I enjoy learning all that I can about how to be a better educator. I have gone to conferences that are open-ended as well as subject-specific conferences. There are also numerous great books for teachers, of which I have gained quite the collection.
